3rd BTLtec (Biomass to Liquids) will include major authorities and project stakeholders from Europe and the US, discussing commercialization of BTL. Technological advancements and worldwide growth of BTL projects set the tone for the more than 20 experts sharing insights on biomass to liquid industry prospect.

The conference will look at two issues that are critical to the widespread commercialization of BTL:

• That the integration of a BTL plant with a pulp and paper mill can be economically attractive under many circumstances.
• Are forest biomass resources sufficient to support future growth in BTL projects plans and are there alternative feedstock options?

CMT's 3rd BTLtec has lined up key experts who are already in the field, technology companies including new entrants to the BTL industry. Including a half day tour/site visit to the Växjö Värnamo Biomass Gasification Centre on the afternoon of the second day.
