The World Sustainable Palm Oil Conference is being organised in London to discuss the future of palm oil as a sustainable agricultural crop. It aims to provide an international platform for the interchange of views and sharing of knowledge and information on the production and use of sustainable palm oil. It will also enable stakeholders in the palm oil supply chain to discuss critical issues with senior government decision makers and industry leaders. More importantly, it will encourage dialogue between civil society groups, end-users and producers on the sustainability of palm oil. The conference will foster debate on the sustainability of palm oil and clarify responsible practices carried out by the palm oil industry. The views from government, the industry, end-users and civil society groups will be heard at the World Sustainable Palm Oil Conference.
